Applications are not necessarily processed in the order they are received. 

Sometimes it takes multiple days/attempts to follow up with references, landlord, etc. We do our best to thoroughly review every application and will only reach out to those that we feel are ready to discuss the next steps. 

Please answer all questions thoughtfully and completely. 

An application is not necessarily denied due to lack of experience or knowledge, but the willingness to learn and commit to the continued research and education for proper husbandry is extremely important. 

For approved applications, adoptions will need to take place within a reasonable time frame. 

We cannot continue to hold onto the animal for several weeks. It is unfair to other applicants who may be ready and have all the needed supplies. 

Adoptions will take place at an agreed upon location, in or near Atmore, AL. 

We are willing to meet at some distance for the right home, for an additional donation towards gas/travel costs.

Adoptions will need to be scheduled on a Saturday or Sunday. 

We work full time jobs to support the rescue. We willingly donate our time, labor, and money to provide for all of the animals in our care. Our off time in the evenings after work is very limited, we spend most of it cleaning and feeding. We do require proof of the proper setup/enclosure before the adoption can be scheduled.

Fees must be paid before the animal can be picked up.

We do not keep running waiting lists, so please do not submit an application for an animal/species that is not currently available for adoption.
